Dr Jeff Stucki

Hand & Wrist

Hand & Wrist Surgeon, Dr. Stucki doesn’t believe in leftover problems. Or leftover implants. That’s why he chooses SupraFusion: resorbable anchors that vanish, giving bone the space to heal right. The future of surgery doesn’t leave scars — neither does he.

“I discovered SupraFusion through my desire to find a better, different product, and good service from a company that has the best interest of the patient in mind.”

One Word for Suprafusion – Strong

  • I'm Dr. Jeff Stucki. I've been practicing orthopedic hand surgery for 15 years in Pocatello, Idaho at the Idaho Hand Institute.

  • I like to see people get better, get back to the activities they enjoy. In hand surgery, that's especially rewarding since we use our hands for everything from work to recreation.

  • Predominantly in thumb arthritis. I'm using it the most in suspension arthroplasty or reconstruction of the CMC joint of the thumb. It's a very common problem that affects men and women, and even increasingly younger patients. The SupraFusion Anchor has allowed me to make that reconstruction stronger and longer-lasting, which is especially important for active younger patients.

  • In hand surgery, you sometimes face the unexpected. With trauma cases, you may not know if there’s tendon or ligament injury until you’re in the OR. SupraFusion allows me to go into those procedures with less stress, knowing I have flexible options. The technology’s very small drill holes but very strong fixation give me confidence in small-bone repairs.

  • I came to SupraFusion looking for a system with stronger pullout strength, smaller drill holes, and a company that put patients first. It has all of those aspects, plus the potential to expand into even more areas of orthopedics.
